PABLO BRUERA
ONE ART SPACE is pleased to present «Shadows» a solo exhibition of Barcelona based Uruguayan artist Pablo Bruera. This exhibition will be on view from September 26 – October 16, 2014. A reception will be held at the gallery on September 25 from 6 – 9 pm.
Pablo Bruera was born on November 14 1972 in Montevideo, Uruguay. From 1974 he lived in Venezuela until his return to Montevideo in 1984. Since 2001 he has lived and developed his artistic practice in Spain.
He has exhibited in museums, art fairs and galleries in countries as diverse as Austria, Brazil, France, Spain, Switzerland, United Kingdom, Uruguay, and USA.
In 2004 he created «A Possible World», a 196″ x 98″ interactive mural comprising 50 movable modules. Like a giant puzzle, each of these 50 paintings can change position to create a new mural. «A Possible World» was exhibited in the Cervantes Vienna and the Interatrium Gallery in Barcelona.
